Community Guidelines

Shareal is a map-based social network built on the principle of "sharing real places and experiences." We aim to create an environment where all users can participate safely, honestly, and with mutual respect. These guidelines serve as the common rules to maintain that environment.

2-1. No Violence or Threats

• Threats of violence, incitement to violence, and glorification of violent acts are prohibited
• Content that threatens harm to specific individuals or groups will be immediately removed
• Excessively violent or graphic content is prohibited

2-2. Dangerous Organizations & Terrorism

• Support, praise, or recruitment for terrorist organizations, violent extremist groups, or criminal organizations is prohibited
• Propaganda or symbols of such organizations are prohibited

2-3. Child Safety

• Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) is strictly prohibited with zero tolerance. Upon discovery, content will be immediately removed and reported to law enforcement and the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC)
• Behavior that endangers minors, including grooming, is prohibited
• Use of Shareal is restricted to users aged 13 and above

2-4. No Promotion of Suicide or Self-Harm

• Content that glorifies, encourages, or promotes suicide, self-harm, or eating disorders is prohibited
• Sharing recovery experiences and support resources is permitted
• Dangerous challenges that encourage imitation are prohibited

3-1. No Hate Speech or Discrimination

• Attacks, discrimination, or exclusion based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, or medical condition are prohibited
• Use of discriminatory slurs or symbols is prohibited

3-2. No Harassment or Bullying

• Targeted harassment, intimidation, defamation, or persistent unwanted contact directed at specific individuals is prohibited
• Content intended to insult others' appearance, character, or private life is prohibited
• Coordinated group harassment is prohibited

3-3. No Sexual Content

• Sexually explicit content and pornography are prohibited
• Sharing non-consensual intimate imagery (revenge porn) is strictly prohibited
• Solicitation of sexual services is prohibited

4-1. No Misinformation

• Deliberately spreading false information is prohibited
• Misinformation related to public health, safety, or elections is subject to strict enforcement

4-2. No Impersonation or Fake Accounts

• Impersonating other individuals, organizations, or brands is prohibited
• Parody or fan accounts must be clearly identified in the profile
• Using multiple accounts for manipulation is prohibited

4-3. AI-Generated Content Disclosure

• AI-generated or significantly manipulated content must be clearly labeled as such
• Posting AI-generated content as real photography is prohibited

As a map-based social network, the accuracy of location information is fundamental to Shareal.

5-1. No False Location Posts

• Posting content falsely attributed to locations you have not actually visited is prohibited
• Tampering with GPS data to create posts is prohibited

5-2. No False Real-Time Information

• Posting false crowd levels, business hours, or other real-time information through features like SpotPulse is prohibited
• Deliberately broadcasting false emergency information is prohibited

5-3. No Location-Based Stalking or Tracking

• Tracking or monitoring other users' behavior through their posting patterns is prohibited
• Using location information to stalk others is prohibited

5-4. No False Reviews or Business Interference

• False reviews or defamation of businesses and venues is prohibited
• Posts intended to sabotage competitors' businesses are prohibited

6-1. No Unauthorized Disclosure of Personal Information

• Publishing others' personal information (addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, financial information) without consent (doxxing) is prohibited
• Threatening to expose others' personal information is prohibited

6-2. No Unauthorized Sharing of Others' Location

• Sharing others' real-time location or residential address without their consent is prohibited
• If your photos show identifiable locations with other people, please obtain their consent

7-1. No Trading of Illegal or Regulated Goods

• Sale, purchase, or facilitation of illegal goods such as drugs, weapons, or counterfeit products is prohibited
• Content promoting the use of controlled substances is prohibited

7-2. No Fraud or Phishing

• Financial fraud, phishing, and malware distribution are prohibited
• Illegal financial schemes such as pyramid schemes or Ponzi schemes are prohibited

7-3. No Human Trafficking or Exploitation

• Human trafficking, forced labor, and all forms of human exploitation are prohibited

8-1. No Spam or Manipulation

• Automated spam posting, mass follow/unfollow actions, and fake engagement are prohibited
• Using bots to manipulate the platform is prohibited
• Mass posting of identical content and misuse of unrelated hashtags are prohibited

8-2. No Abuse of Reporting

• Filing false reports or mass reports for harassment purposes is prohibited
• Abuse of the reporting system itself constitutes a guidelines violation

• Posting content that infringes on others' copyrights or trademarks is prohibited
• Content will be promptly removed upon valid takedown requests from rightful owners
• Accounts that repeatedly infringe on intellectual property rights will be suspended

We take graduated enforcement actions based on the severity and frequency of violations.

Immediate permanent suspension: Content related to child sexual exploitation (CSAM), specific violent threats, or human trafficking will result in immediate and permanent account suspension without warning, along with a report to law enforcement.

How to Report

• Use the in-app reporting feature to flag content or behavior that violates these guidelines
• Reports can be made from posts, comments, profiles, and DMs
• All reports are processed anonymously

Appeals

• If you disagree with an enforcement action, you can appeal through the app or via email
• Appeals will be reviewed fairly, and you will be notified of the outcome

These guidelines may be updated from time to time to reflect community needs and legal requirements. Significant changes will be communicated through in-app notifications. The latest version is always available on this page.
